This Enactment may be cited as “The Victoria Institution Acquisition Enactment, 1925”, and shall come into force upon the 1st day of September, 1925.

All the land set forth in the first schedule hereto subject to the debts and liabilities (if any) affecting the same is hereby vested in His Highness the Sultan, his heirs and successors.

All the funds set forth in the second schedule together with all interest accrued or accruing due thereon are hereby vested in the Government of Selangor to be applied by the said Government towards the cost of the erection of new school buildings.

All the funds set forth in the second schedule together with all interests accrued or accruing due thereon are hereby vested in the Secretary to Resident to be applied in and for the trusts and purposes more particularly mentioned in the said schedule.

The Resident may appoint so many persons as he shall deem fit to be a Committee for the administration of the funds hereinbefore vested in the Secretary to Resident, and may at any time cancel the appointment of any member of such Committee and appoint another member in the place thereof. The Secretary to Resident shall be ex-officio Chairman of the said Committee.
When such Committee has been appointed the Secretary to Resident shall not without the sanction and approval of the said Committee make any payment from the funds hereinbefore vested in him or from the interest accrued or accruing due upon the same.

The Enactment specified in the fourth schedule are hereby repealed.
